1. Sponsor
The Orlando Pesach Dream Raffle (the “Drawing”) is conducted by Orlando Community Kollel, Inc., a nonprofit organization exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (EIN 92-3843288), with its principal place of business at 8613 Banyan Blvd, Orlando, FL 32819 (the “Sponsor”). Contact: (407) 383-6192 · Office@orlandocommunitykollel.org.
2. Eligibility
The Drawing is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry, except where prohibited or restricted by law. Officers, directors, and employees of the Sponsor, and members of their immediate households, are eligible to enter only through the same methods and on the same terms as the general public.
3. Entry Period
Entries may be submitted from the date these rules are first published through 6:00 PM ET on Tuesday, December 8, 2026 (the “Entry Period”).
4. How to Enter
There are two ways to enter. Both methods produce entries that are pooled together and treated identically in every respect, with equal odds and equal eligibility for the prize.
- (a) Entry with a contribution. Tickets are available at the published ticket levels ($150 for 1 ticket; bundle levels as listed on the Sponsor's website) through the Sponsor's ticketing page. Each ticket constitutes one (1) entry.
- (b) Free entry (no purchase necessary). To enter without any purchase or contribution, either:
- Mail-in: hand-print your full name, complete mailing address, telephone number, email address, and date of birth on a plain 3″ x 5″ card and mail it in a stamped envelope to: Orlando Pesach Dream Raffle — Free Entry, 8613 Banyan Blvd, Orlando, FL 32819. One entry per outer envelope. Mail-in entries must be received by 6:00 PM ET on Tuesday, December 8, 2026. Each valid mail-in entry constitutes one (1) entry; or
- Web form: complete the free entry form at orlandopesachdream.com/free-entry with the same information (full name, mailing address, telephone number, email address, date of birth). One free web entry per person. Each valid web entry constitutes one (1) entry.
Free entries are assigned entry numbers in the same sequence and pool as paid entries. No distinction is made at any stage between entries accompanied by a contribution and entries that are not.
5. Entry Limit
A maximum of 800 paid tickets will be issued. The Sponsor reserves the right to limit the number of tickets issued to any single entrant, as permitted by Florida Statute 849.0935(5).
6. Prize
One (1) winner will be drawn. The winner chooses ONE of the following:
- (a) The Pesach Getaway Package: ten (10) nights for one family (up to 18 people) in an 8-bedroom Kosher-for-Pesach villa at Solara Resort, Orlando, Florida, during Pesach 5787 (April 2027), plus $8,000 cash. The winner is solely responsible for all travel and catering arrangements; the Sponsor does not arrange, warrant, or supervise travel or food arrangements. OR
- (b) Cash Alternative: $15,000, paid by check or electronic transfer.
Cash prizes and prize purchases are funded from the proceeds of this drawing.
7. Odds
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Each entry has an equal chance of winning.
8. Drawing Date, Time, and Place
The winner will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries on Tuesday, December 8, 2026 at 8:30 PM ET via live Zoom — link sent to all participants. The drawing will be held on that date regardless of the number of entries received. The winner need not be present.
9. Winner Notification
The winner will be notified promptly at the address, telephone number, or email address provided on the entry, within five (5) business days of the drawing. If the winner cannot be reached within fourteen (14) days of the first notification attempt, or fails to complete the requirements in Section 10, an alternate winner will be drawn from the remaining eligible entries.
10. Taxes and Withholding
The prize is taxable income to the winner.
- Before any prize is released or transferred, the winner must provide a completed IRS Form W-9 and government-issued identification.
- Federal law requires the Sponsor to withhold 24% of the prize proceeds (prize value less the cost of the winning entry) for federal income tax on prizes over $5,000. For the Cash Alternative, the withholding will be deducted from the payment. For the noncash Getaway Package, the winner must remit the required withholding to the Sponsor before the prize is transferred; if the Sponsor advances the tax, the amount is computed on a grossed-up basis (an effective rate of approximately 31.58% of the package value).
- The Sponsor will issue IRS Form W-2G to the winner and report the prize to the IRS.
- The winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes and any other costs not expressly included in the prize description.
11. Payments Are Not Tax Deductible
Amounts paid for raffle tickets are payments for a chance to win a prize and are not tax-deductible charitable contributions.
12. General Conditions
By entering, each entrant agrees to these Official Rules and to the Sponsor's decisions, which are final. The drawing will not be conditioned on a minimum number of tickets sold or contributions received, and will not be canceled. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or submitted after the Entry Period are void. The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected mail or web submissions. Any advertising or statement inconsistent with these rules is void; these Official Rules govern.
13. Void Where Prohibited
This Drawing is void outside the permitted jurisdictions and wherever prohibited or restricted by law.
14. Winner's Name
The winner's first name, last initial, and city/state may be announced publicly and will be provided on written request to 8613 Banyan Blvd, Orlando, FL 32819 within ninety (90) days of the drawing.
